So I began to search for an easy way to create my website. The problem is, most of the site builders I found were either too expensive, too complicated or created sites so simple or ugly I knew I couldn’t accomplish the next step of attracting visitors.
Suddenly, the answer to my concerns came from somewhere I didn’t expect…
A member at a forum I frequent suggested that I use
a free script called WordPress to create my site.
“What”, you might ask, “I thought WordPress could only be used for blogging!” I said the same because I wanted a website - not a blog.
So she put together videos that walked me - and a couple others who wanted to do the same - step-by-step through the process of using this script and then customizing it to have everything I could want in a website.
We were all thrilled with the ease and great results!
